A legal blog, devoted to you
This blog is devoted to you, the entrepreneur, business leader and professional that is looking for actionable legal advice, compact know-how on important regulatory changes, or just a window into the workings of an innovative legal services firm and how we are changing the legal industry. The content will change as you react to it, just to make sure we deliver the content that is most relevant to what our community wants. However, the goal of every blog post is the same: We want to provide value to you and your business, by informing you in an engaging manner about relevant topics.
In order to achieve this goal, we define a simple set of rules:
Circle of competence:
You will read only about the things we are truly passionate about and consider ourselves experts in. This includes, of course, any legal topics around building and growing companies. We may, every now and then, sneak in an economic analysis of the legal industry and how we tackle fundamental issues around information asymmetry and incentive alignment in the legal industry, or simply share exciting news of what the LEXR team is up to.
Your interests first:
We are in it for the long-term and are looking to earn your trust and build a community – the whole purpose of this blog is to engage with our community and better understand what matters to you and how we can improve the user experience in legal services. In short: We’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Keep it simple & short:
This is not an academic discussion with, inter alia, Latin expressions and discussion of theoretical legal problems. We focus on the day-to-day topics that are relevant to you and respect your time. As the saying goes – if I only had the time, I would have written a short blog post. We take the time so you don’t have to.
This is the standard you can hold us accountable to. However, we wouldn’t be good lawyers if we didn’t break a rule here and there, so expect to see the odd experimental blog post in which we may venture into unchartered territory such as the absurdities in bureaucratic processes and other oddities. Let’s see where this journey takes us – we’re glad to have you on board.
